Giri Game is a storytelling card game for children that develops communication skills, imagination and emotional intelligence. The game was created in collaboration with 45 children aged 3 to 13, who were asked to depict various words symbolising characters, places, emotions, objects and conditions in their own drawing style.
While remaining true to children's individual sense of form and composition, the final illustrations composed a recognisible and consistent illustration style
We used their artwork as a blueprint for developing the Giri Game illustration style, which would remain true to the children's sense of composition, space, forms and ideas. The final result was a consistent visual expression that defined the card game identity with a positively childlike look and feel.
